God says you’re the apple of His eye! (Psalm 17:8)

When you feel worried (Matthew 6:25-27 & Philippians 4:6-7)
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink’ or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
When you need peace and safety (Matthew 11:28-30 & Psalm 4:8)
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light”
I will lie down and sleep in peace,
For you alone, O Lord,
make me dwell in safety.
God heals through your faith (Mark 5:34)
“Daughter, your faith has heald you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”
God wants you to be free! (John 8:32)
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
God wants to be there for you (Luke 11:9-10 & Revelation 3:20)
“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with her, and she with me.
When you’re sad (John 14:1-3)
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me (Jesus). In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
God heals! (Luke 13:12)
He was teaching in one of the meeting places on the Sabbath. There was a woman present, so twisted and bent over with arthritis that she couldn’t even look up. She had been afflicted with this for eighteen years. When Jesus saw her, he called her over. “Woman, you’re free!” He laid hands on her and suddenly she was standing straight and tall, giving glory to God.
God is forgiving (Luke 23:34)
Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”
God sacrificed for you (John 3:16)
“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted
God is your friend (John 15:15-16)
I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit – fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
God is your “Abba” (daddy) who wants you free from fear (Romans 8:15-16)
For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of daughtership. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.
TRUE Love (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 & 1 John 4:18)
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we’re free of worry on Judgment Day – our standing in the world is identical with Christ’s. There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life – fear of death, fear of judgment – is one not yet fully formed in love.
In Christ you are brand new no matter what you’ve done! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, she is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
God’s grace can help you when you’re down (2 Corinthians 12:9)
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
You can move forward with confidence (Philippians 3:13-14)
Brothers (and sisters), I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
God is awesome! (Colossians 2:2-3)
My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
You are capable! (2 Timothy 1:7)
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline.
God hears your prayers (James 5:13-15 & Psalm 28:6-7)
Are you hurting? Pray. Do you feel great? Sing. Are you sick? Call the church leaders together to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the Father. Believing-prayer will heal you, and Jesus will put you on your feet. And if you’ve sinned, you’ll be forgiven – healed inside and out.
Praise be to the Lord,
for he has heard my cry for mercy.
The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
My heart leaps for joy
And I will give thanks to him in song.
When you’re facing danger (Psalm 91)
You who sit down in the High God’s presence, spend the night in “Shaddai’s shadow”, (God’s secret hiding place under his wings)
Say this; “God, you’re my refuge. I trust in you and I’m safe!”
That’s right – he rescues you from hidden traps, shields you from deadly hazards.
His huge outstretched arms protect you – under them you’re perfectly safe; his arms fend off all harm.
Fear nothing – not wild beasts in the night, not flying arrows in the day,
Not disease that prowls through the darkness, not disaster that erupts at high noon.
Even though others succumb all around, drop like flies right and left, no harm will even graze you.
You’ll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance, watch the wicked turn into corpses.
Yes, because God’s your refuge, the High God your very own home,
Evil can’t get close to you, harm can’t get through the door.
He ordered his angels to guard you wherever you go.
If you stumble, they’ll catch you; their job is to keep you from falling.
You’ll walk unharmed among lions and snakes, and kick young lions and serpents from the path.
“If you’ll hold on to me for dear life,” says God, “I’ll get you out of any trouble.
I’ll give you the best of care if you’ll only get to know and trust me.
Call me and I’ll answer, be at your side in bad times;
I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party.
I’ll give you a long drink of salvation!”
Nothing can separate you from God’s love! (Romans 8:31-39)
So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us – who was raised to life for us! – is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture:
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
